Doodle Flowers

Hi Everyone,

I had a great time at the Penrith Show last weekend and even. picked up some new Paper Rose Stamps and Dies.  I also picked up a packet of the Inky Antics Paper.

I am sharing a stamp set with you today, the 'Doodle Flowers', I have also used the paper on these cards.

Ingredients

Other:  Silver Embossing Powder, Versamark Ink, Black Copic Marker

Method:

• Cut 'Inky Antics' Paper in half.
• Randomly stamp Doodle Flowers with Versamark Ink and cover with Silver embossing powder.  Heat set.

• Colour Background with Black Copic Marker.  You may have to go over this twice.
• Stamp Sentiment onto Black Cardstock with versa mark ink and embossing using silver embossing powder.  Trim and adhere to card.

With a really hot day yesterday, I thought it best to sit and colour.

Wow, this one certainly did take hours but I am glad I did it.

I love the result, even if one of the markers misbehaved.

Colouring is my go to for relaxing.  I try to pop into my craft room every day even if it is just for 5 minutes.

I hope that my cards inspire you to have a go at colouring or even just bring a smile to your day.

Method:

• Card: X-Press It Blending Card, 9 x 14cm.  Stamp and embossing Magnolia flowers.  Colour background around flowers with C9 copic Markers.  Then colour flowers.  After you have finished the flowers, recolour the background with C9 again.  Set aside.
• Card Base: 14 x 1.5cm Black card.  Apply thin strips of thin silver washi tap onto base.
• Adhere colour card onto base.
