Wish upon a star with Chibitronics LED Stickers

 Hi Everyone,

For today's card I am featuring Chibitronics LED Stickers and Fabric  Conductive Tape.

Ingredients

Stamp Set:  Wish upon a Star

Medium:  Copic Markers

(Mouse:  C5, C4, C3, C2. C1. C0, R20, 0

Stars:  Y19, Y08

Moon & Clouds:  BV000, B000, C00)

Background:  Circle Die, Masking Paper, Distress Oxide Inks ( Blueprint Sketch, Faded Jeans & Black Soot)

Electronics:  Chibitronics LED Stickers (White), Chibitronics Conductive Fabric Tape & 2016 Battery

Card Stock:  X-Press It Blending Card

Ink:  MFT Extreme Black

Other:  White Gelly Roll 0.8, Shimmer Pen, Glossy Accents

1. Create card front

Firstly, I have stamped the images onto X-Press It Blending Card and coloured them with Copic Markers.  I fussy cut around the images and set them aside.

I then cut a circle from a piece of Masking Paper, set the circle aside and used the negative to mask a piece of white card.  I then coloured the circle with distress oxide inks.  I then splashed some white post paint onto the background and allowed it to dry before removing the mask.

I punched some holes where I wanted the stars to go.

2. Circuit

The base for the card is 14x10cm.  I have cut the base using the Silhouette Cameo and made a battery holder so the battery is removable.

I laid the front panel onto the card and traced the circles.  This will tell me exactly where to put the lights.

For this circuit, I have used the Chibitronics Fabric Conductive tape and Chibitronics LED White Stickers.  I have used a 2016 battery.  To light this card up you press the battery compartment.

3. Time to light up the card

To light up this card, press at the 'press here' spot with pressure from the front and the back of the card.

I hope you have found this tutorial useful.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

Until next time

Melissa
