The Cauldron Boy

 Hi Everyone,

For today's card I have used an image from Lili of the Valley (LOTV).

I couldn't help but light up the magic from the cauldron with Chibitronics LED Lights.

Dino Christmas

 Hi Everyone,

For today's inspiration I decided to create a tag and have used the new 'Dino Christmas' Stamp Set from CC Designs.

I just love this set.  So much fun and great to colour.

Ingredients

Coordinating Die:  Dino Christmas Outline Die

Medium:  Copic Markers

(Dino:  G09, G05, FYG2, YG07, YG05, R20, B05, B04, B02, B01, B00

Red (Hat & Ribbon):  R39, R29, R27, R35

Pink (Tongue):  R85, R83, R81

Gold (Bell):  YR27, YR24, YR23

Grey (Bell):  C5, C3, C1

Blue (Ribbon):  B05, 0)

Sentiment:  Included in stamp set

Background:  Narrow Stripes Stencil, Hero Paste, Distress Oxide Ink (Salty Ocean)

Tag Die:  Jumbo Tag Die

Card Stock:  X-Press It Blending Card, Pitch Black

Ink:  MFT Extreme Black

Other:  Seam Binding, White Gelly Roll 08 Pen, Glossy Accents, Clear Microbeads

Method

• Cut tag from white card.  Place stencil on top of tag and apply Hero Paste randomly over tag.  Allow to dry.
• Once tag is dry, apply Distress Ink using brush.  Draw order using black pen.
• Layer tag onto black card.
• Stamp 'Dino' onto X-Press it Blending card, colour using Copic Markers (Listed above) and die cut using the coordinating die.
• Stamp Sentiment using black ink, trim and adhere to tag using Liquid Glue.
• Adhere 'Dino' to tag using foam tape.
• Colour seam binding ribbon with alcohol ink.  Allow to dry and attach to tag.

Light up star card with LOTV Stamps and Chibitronics

  Hi Everyone,

For today's card I have used a stamp set from LOTV Stamps and LED Stickers from Chibitronics.

For this card I have used the new 'Craft with light kit'.  It makes craft with Chibitronics so much easier as everything you need is in one pack.

Ingredients

Stamp Set:  Cute Witches

Medium:  Copic Markers

Electronics:  Craft with Light kit from Chibitronics

Background:  Distress Oxide Inks

(Twisted Citron, Salty Ocean, Blueprint Sketch, Faded Jeans, Black Soot)

Card Stock:  X-Press It Blending Card

Ink:  MFT Extreme Black

Other:  White Gelly Roll 08 Pen, Shimmer Pen, Glossy Accents, Amsterdam White Ink

Method

1. Background

Firstly, I stamped the images onto X-Press It Blending Card and coloured them with Copic Markers.

I masked the image then coloured then background using Distress Oxide Inks.

2. Battery Holder

This card will measure 14 x 10cm once complete.

I have used the Silhouette Cameo to cut the layers for the battery holder.  I glued 8 of these together.

I have glued them together using Liquid Glue from Bearly Arts.  If find this glue does not warp the card and makes it really strong.

I put plain card stock on the back of this card to finish this card.

The card used is 300gsm smooth white card,

3. Circuit

The circuit has been designed on the battery holder.

I have marked where the light will go (from the card front).  I then mapped where I want the circuit to go in pencil.  This makes it easier for me to complete the circuit.

4.  Completing the Circuit

The Circuit has been complete using the Fabric Conductive Tape and LED Stickers.

This card works by pressing the bottom right hand corner (over the battery).  The positive will connect with the battery, turning on the lights.

5. Adhere the card front

It is time to adhere the card front I prepared earlier to the battery compartment.

I have used double sided tape to do this.

The coloured image have been adhered using foam tape.

6. Let's light this card up!

This circuit uses a 2016 battery to power this card.

To light this card card up, press the bottom right hand corner as shown.

Dino Christmas

Hi Everyone,

For today's card I have used a new stamp set from CC Designs.

 Ingredients

Stamp Set:  Dino Christmas

Die:  Dino Christmas Outline Die

Medium:  Copic Markers

Sentiment:  'Be Merry' Die & "Rex-mas' included in stamp set

Background:  'Born to create' Stamp Set & Black paint for splatter

Card Stock:  X-Press it Blending Card, Red Card, Black Card

Ink:  MFT Extreme Black

Other:  White Gelly Roll 08 Pen, Glossy Accents, Glitter, White Embossing Powder

Method

• Cut white card 14x10cm.  Stamp background stamp in black ink.  Splatter black paint and allow to dry.
• Stamp 'Dino' in black ink onto X-Press It Blending Card and colour with Copic Markers (listed above).  Cut out using Outline die.  Apply Glossy Accents and Glitter to hat and allow to dry.
• Cut 'Merry from white card, colour with Copic Markers and adhere to a black strip of black card with liquid glue.  Adhere this to card using double sided tape.
• Stamp 'Rex-mas' onto black card, emboss with white embossing powder and heat set.  Trim and adhere to card using foam tape.
• Adhere 'Dino' to card using foam tape.
• Layer this white card onto red card then black card.
