Juggling Tiger

Hi Everyone,

For today's card I have used an image from Gerda Steiner Designs.

Ingredients
Image:  Juggling Tiger
Medium:  Copic Markers
Background:  Distress Oxide (Salty Ocean & Blueprint Sketch)
Dies:  MFT Cute Clouds & Grass
Other:  Nuvo Shimmer Pen, Glossy Accents

Method
  • Base card:  14x10cm Copic X-Press It Blending Card.
  • Print image onto base card.  Colour with copic markers. Apply Nuvo Shimmer Pen and Glossy accents to the juggling balls.  Set aside. Allow to dry.
  • Colour background using Distress Oxide (I used Salty Ocean & Blueprint Sketch).
  • Using die, cut grass from white card.  Colour with ink (I used Catherine Pooler Lime Rickey). Adhere to base card.
  • Using die, cut clouds from white card.  Apply Nuvo Shimmer pen to solid 'cloud'.  Adhere to base card.  Apply glossy accents. Allow to dry.
  • Apply glossy accents to the nose of the tiger.

Penguin Doctor

Hi Everyone,

I was recently in hospital for major abdominal surgery.  Thankfully it went well and I am recovering, slowly, but recovering.
My surgeon is just amazing, so for the first visit back too see him post surgery I made this card using an image from Whimsy Stamps.

Method
  • Base card 14x10cm water colour card.
  • Using Distress Oxide ink, colour base card.  Allow to dry.
  • Stamp 'birthday' sentiment in black ink onto base card.
  • Print 'Happy' onto black card and foil in white.  Trim to size and adhere to card.
  • Adhere clear sequins to base card.  Allow to dry.

Stamptember Poinsettia Border

Hi Everyone,

Yesterday I received a lovely surprise in the mail from Simon Says Stamp.
It was the Stamptember release from Paper Rose.
So I got creating today and made 3 cards.


Ingredients
Medium:  Copic Markers
Sentiment:  Included in stamp set
Embossing Powder:  Ranger Rose Gold
Cardstock:  Neenah Desert Storm

Method:
  • Stamp Poinsettia Border onto Neenah Cardstock and embossing using Range Rose Gold Embossing Powder.
  • Stamp and Emboss Sentiment using same embossing powder.
  • Colour stamp with Copic Markers.

Monster holding letter

Hi Everyone,

For today's card I have used an image from Gerda Steiner Designs.


Ingredients
Medium:  Copic Markers
Sentiment:  Computer and foiled in white
Background stamp:  Carabelle Stamps, All you need is love
Other:  Nuvo Shimmer Pen, Glossy Accents

Method
  • Print image onto Copic X-Press It Blending Card.  Colour with Copic Markers.  Fussy cut around image.  Set aside.
  • Base Card: 14x10cm white card
  • Cut die from Kraft card.  Stamp background stamps using black ink. Adhere to base card.
  • Print sentiment onto black card using a laser printer. Foil with white foil.  Trim and adhere to card.
  • Adhere image to base card using foam tape.
  • Apply glossy accents to the eyes of the image and the heart on the letter.  Allow to dry.

Alphabet

Hi Everyone,

For today's cards I have used a dies and stamps from Paper Rose.


Ingredients
Background:  Distress Oxide (Peacock Feather)
Other sentiment:  Computer & foiled in white
Border:  Hand drawn using Copic Multi Liner Pen
Other:  Nuvo Shimmer Pen, Glossy Accents

Method
  • Card Base: 14x10cm watercolour card
  • Colour card base using Distress Oxide ink.  Spritz with water and dab off.  Allow to dry.
  • Hand draw border around edge of base card using Copic Multi Liner Pen.
  • Print 'To our' sentiment onto black card and foil with white foil. Trim to size and adhere to base card.
  • Cut 'awesome' layered die from black card.  Adhere to base card.
  • Cut 'Dad' from black card.  Apply Nuvo Shimmer Pen to the letters.  When dry, adhere to base card.
  • Apply glossy accents to 'awesome' and 'Dad', allow to dry.

Unicorn Magic

Hi Everyone,

Background:  Distress Oxide Ink (Salty Ocean)
Other:  Glossy Accents, Clear Microbeads

Method

  • Card Base. Cut hexagon from white card.  Colour with Distress Oxide (Salty Ocean. Set aside.
  • Cut rainbow, colour with copic markers and adhere to card base.
  • Cut Clouds, adhere to card base.  Apply glossy accents and clear micro beads.
  • Stamp, colour and fussy cut unicorn.  Adhere to card base using foam tape.
  • Apply glossy accents to the rainbow.

Hedgehog Smooches

Hi Everyone,

Ingredients
Medium:  Copic Markers
Sentiment:  Computer and Foiled in white
Hearts:  Corbett Creations
Other:  Glossy Accents, Washi Tape

Method
  • Base card: 14x10cm Copic X-Press It Blending Card
  • Print image onto base card.  Colour with Copic Markers.
  • Adhere washi tape to base card.
  • Print sentiment onto black card stock using a Laser printer, run through Minc Machine with white foil.  Trim to size. Adhere to base card.
  • Adhere hearts to base card using liquid glue.
  • Apply glossy accents to the 'noses' of the hedgehogs.  Allow to dry.
