Easter Sweeties

Hi Everyone,

I am sorry I have been absent the last week.  I was not feeling well and ended up in hospital having emergency surgery due to ruptured appendicitis with sepsis.  I ended up with 32 staples instead of keyhole surgery.  I can't promise I will be back quickly but I will be back as soon as I can.

I did have a few images/cards made before I got sick and this was one of them. So.....

Bunny with carrot

Hi Everyone,

For today's card I have used an image from Gerda Steiner Designs.

Ingredients

Image:  Bunny with carrot

Dies:  Hello Bluebird

Fence:  Thin paddle pop sticks

Method:

Image:  Print image onto Copic X-press It blending card.  Colour with copic markers and trim, leaving a small white edge around the image.  Set aside.

Base Card:  14 x 10cm Blue card

Using die, cut cloud from white card, apply glitter using glossy accents and adhere to base card using foam tape.

Using small thin paddle pop sticks, make a fence at the bottom of the base card.  Adhere using glue.

Cut 'grass' from white card and colour with Copic Markers.  Adhere to base card.

Adhere the coloured image to the base card using foam tape.

Apply Glossy accents to the Bunnies nose.

Take a break - Coffee Mouse

Hi Everyone,

For today's card I have used the 'Take a break' (Coffee Mouse) Digital Stamp from Gerda Steiner Designs.

Method:

Image:  The image has been printed onto Copic X-press It blending card and coloured with Copic Markers.   Trim image leaving a small white border and set aside.

Base card:  White card stock using a die with scalloped edges.

Cut a piece of patterned paper to fit inside the stitched edges of the base card.  Adhere to base card.

Cut a hexagon from white card and adhere to base card.  Draw a border using a Copic Multi Liner pen.

Adhere sentiment to base card.

Adhere image to base card using foam tape.

2 Bunnies with an Easter egg

Hi Everyone,

For today's card I have used an image from Gerda Steiner Designs.

Method:

Base Card:  Printed Kraft card 10.5 x 14cm

Cut a paper doily in half and adhere to base card, leaving a gap in the centre.

Trim your hessian and fold corners as desired, staple this onto base card.

Image:  The image has been printed onto Copic X-Press It blending card and coloured with copic markers.  The background is also coloured with Copic Markers.  This has been trimmed to 9.5 x 9cm and adhered to the base card using Foam tape.

Method:

Base card:  White card stock 13.3 x 13.5cm

Cut Moroccan Layer 2 from grey card and adhere to base card.

Cut Moroccan Layer 1 from aqua card and adhere to base card.

One a piece of white card, stamp sentiment.  Cut using smallest Banner 2 die.  Layer onto square and great card and adhere to card base.
