What a week!!!!

Hi Everyone,

What a week (actually 10 days) we have had.

On Thursday 17th October the Blue Mountains was hit with another Bushfire.

It was travelling fast and devastated the towns of Winmalee and Yellow Rock.

We are one of the lucky ones and our home was saved.  Many were not so lucky.

My heart goes out to all the families that have lost their homes.

And huge THANK YOU goes out to the many Firemen and women and police that helped us that awful day.  Thanks to their families, without their support, they could not have helped us.

On a brighter note, I am excited to announce I was selected to join the Totally Gorjuss Design Team.

I just love their weekly challenges, it keeps me motivated.

Today is a new challenge on the blog:

After all the has gone on this week, it was relaxing to sit and colour.

Crafty Challenges

Hi Everyone,

The other day a friend asked me to set her a Crafty Challenge for the night.
I decided on 'Colour: Aqua and Red and a Shaped Card'.

I decided to play along on this challenge and this is what I have created:

Copics Used:
Skin:  E000, E13, E11, E00, R20, Molotow
Hair:  E21, E23, E25, E27
Clothes:  BG000, BG01, BG02, BG05, BG07, Molotow
Flowers:  R000, R02, R05, R08, G21, YG63



The next day I asked for a challenge.
'Use a product from you craft room that you haven't used before.
Colour theme is Yellow, Orange and Blue.
Create an embellishment'.

The only thought I had at the time was to create a flower from some material that I had which was Orange, Yellow and Pink and to put the flower on a card with an image that was coloured in Blue.
So off I went and this is what I have created.
The product's I used that had never been used before was the brad in the centre of the flower and the silver heart behind the flower.
