Hi Everyone,

For today's card I thought I would use an image from Lili of the Valley (LOTV) but decided that it also needed the star to shine.

For this, I have used Chibi Lights and a new Power Pack from Pear Blossom Press.  This makes 'light up' cards so much easier.  No more packing the cards to keep that battery in place.

These will be available in Australia soon through Dawn Lewis.

Method:

• Stamp 'Daisy Bouquet' onto X-Press It Blending Card using the Ink on 3 Fadeout ink.
• Colour 'Daisy Bouquet' with Copic Markers.
• Using the 3rd largest Stitched Rectangle Die, cut card.
• Adhere double sided adhesive to the back of the card.
• Place 'Hugs' die onto card.  Cut.  Place the card onto a piece of white card and trim to size.  Layer the pieces of the 'hugs' die into the card.  Set the word 'Hug' aside.
• Cut 3 more 'Hugs' out and adhere them to the card, layering them up.
• Adhere the coloured 'Hug' on top.
• Apply Glossy Accents & Clear Micro Beads to the Flower Centres.

Mandala Love

Hi Everyone,

It's not to late to get a Valentines card made for that special someone.

This card is using stamps and dies from Paper Rose.

The background is coloured using my new Karin Markers.

I am slowly getting used to them.

Ingredients

Stamp:  #17883 Beautiful Mandala

Sentiment:  #18042 Love Layered, Large

Background:  Karin Markers (Magenta Red 170, Amber 195)

Card:  Watercolour Card & White Card

Other:  Swarovski Crystals, Versamark Ink, White Embossing Powder, double sided adhesive paper.

METHOD:

• Stamp Mandala onto watercolour card using versamark ink and sprinkle white embossing powder over the top. Tap off extra powder.  Heat set.
• Layer Karin Markers onto a sandwich bag.  Spray embossed card with water.  Smooch plastic bag onto embossed card.  Heat set.  Continue doing this until you are happy with the colour.
• Cover the back of the coloured/embossed card with double sided adhesive paper.  This makes life easier.  Cut 'Love' from the embossed/coloured card.  Layer the back piece and negative pieces onto a piece of white card, trim to size.  Set aside the 'love' cut out.
• From white card, cut 4 of the 'love' die.  Adhere these into the embossed/coloured card.
• Adhere the coloured/embossed 'Love' back onto the card base.
• Adhere Swarovski crystals to card.

Summer Flowers

I stepped outside my comfort zone to colour a multi colour flower.  I decided on red and orange.  It actually was not as hard as I thought it would be.  I just needed to believe in myself.
