Lovey Dovey

Hi Everyone,

It is that time of the year where 'Love is all around' and shown so openly to others.

A new challenge has started over at the Totally Gorjuss Challenge blog.
This week's theme is 'Lovey Dovey'.
When I saw the theme, I new straight away what image I was going to use.
It is an old image but I still love it.

Thanks for Everything!

Hi Everyone,

While hubby was away, I bought some magazines to look through.
I found a layout of a card in an advertisement that I absolutely loved so I decided to try and make it.
Of course it looks nothing like the original card, but I still absolutely love the way it turned out.

Again, I have used embellishments I have had for years.
I must admit that it does feel great to be using my 'stash'.

Wonderful Friend

Hi Everyone,

Most of the time we forget to thank the people who make us happy and forget to tell them how much we really do appreciate them.

I was making a card and found a sentiment 'You are a wonderful friend'.  It was just what I needed for this card.

Now that I have organised my embellishments, it is great to be using them.
I have had these for years.

Smile

Hi Everyone,

Last month I was lucky to purchase a Brother Scan n Cut.
I purchased this machine as it 'fussy cuts' around my stamped images.

I must admit that this machine is very hit and miss in recognising the outline of images, however I am still happy with the way it performs.
I have even been able trick it by closing in some lines with lead pencil, then rubbing out the lines after cutting.

Here is a card I have made using the Scan n Cut only.
(Sentiment, cardbase, background and fussy cut image)

Copics Used:
Skin:  E000, E13, E11, E00, R20
Clothes:  R14, R17, R28, R29, R46, B93, B95, B97, E31, E33, E35, E37

Cardstock:  Close to my Heart
