Different Perspective Flamingo

Hi Everyone,

For today's inspiration I have used an image from Gerda Steiner Designs.

Ingredients

Image:  Different Perspective Flamingo

Medium:  Copic Markers

Sentiment:  Jellibean Soup, Computer & Foiled

Die:  MFT Inside Out Ovals & Grass

Background:  Distress Oxide (Salty Ocean) & Catherine Pooler (Lime Rickey)

Method

• Base Card 10.5x14.5cm
• Colour base card using Distress Oxide (Salty Ocean)
• Print image onto Copic X-Press It Blending Card.  Colour with Copic Markers.  Fussy Cut around image and set aside.
• Cut 'Grass' from white card stock.  I did this 3 times.  Colour using Green ink (I used Catherine Pooler Lime Rickey). Set aside.
• Cut a piece of white card. 10x14cm.  Using an oval die, place at top middle of this piece and cut.  Set aside.
• Print Sentiment onto black card stock and foil using White foil.  Trim to size and set aside.
• Start to assemble to card.  Layer the grass where it needs to be, slightly under the 'oval.  Adhere to base card.  Adhere the white 'oval' piece onto using foam tape.  Adhere coloured image to base card using foam tape.
• Adhere sentiments to card.  For the 'Wire' sentiment, I used a liquid glue.

Flowers:  I am Roses

Other:  Anna Griffin Texture Paste

Method:

• Base Card:  Gina K Card 14.5x10.5cm
• Cut white card 14x10cm.  Using the stencil and texture paste, create the background.  Allow to dry.  Cut 'Hey' from this and set aside.  Adhere white card to base card.
• Cut the layered 'hey' from a piece of the base colour, adhere to base card.
• Adhere cut out 'Hey' to base card.
• Adhere Roses to base card.

• Print sentiment 'a hug in a mug' and foil with white.  Adhere to base card.
• Colour 'Coffee' Chipboard with Copic Markers and adhere to base card.
• Adhere coloured image to base card using foam tape.

For today's cards I have featured a die from Paper Rose but have also used other stamps and dies that are available in store.

Stamp Set:  #17967 Ella's Garden Rose Bouquet

Method:

• Base Card:  14x10cm Copic X-Press It Blending Card
• Using Black ink, stamp Rose Bouquet onto base card.
• Cut 'Love' die 3 times from a piece of white card. set aside.
• Cut 'Love' die from base card, this will overlap the Rose Bouquet.  Layer the base card onto another piece of white card, trim to size.  Set aside the 'Love' cut out.
• Using the 3 white 'Love' cut outs, adhere them to the base card.
• Adhere the coloured 'Love' to the base card.  Apply glossy accents  to the 'Love'.  Allow to dry.
• Dry border using Copic Multi Liner Pen.
